Origin
"Unlike many drug lords in Sargasso, The Joint only wanted one thing, to achieve peace in the city with his special breed of cannabis. The thing about The Joint's special weed is that not only can it relax the smoker, but it has the effect of reducing their aggression so that they become more mellow and not willing to do violent crime, that and gain a craving for snack foods. Living in the vast underground tunnels with his fellow pot heads, The Joint & his people farm marijuana, create things such as spliffs, spice for foods, pulp for paper, fabric for clothes & other things and sell them top side for prices so low that other drug lords can't compete.

However, that hasn't stopped the other crime bosses from trying to wipe out The Joint's operations, though anyone that tried to get into the tunnels ended up joining The Reefer King as fellow pot heads and new dealers, due to the smoke that fills the tunnels and those thugs enjoy the euphoric feelings they receive from the smoke. And those that had gas masks were forced out from the vines of cannabis that grow from the ground, walls and ceiling, grab them and tossed them out."

And another for Sargasso, this time a drug lord that's sort of a good guy. Not like a Saint Row, Grand Theft Auto or Mafia protagonist, but someone who genuinely wants to help his city, but has problems with other crime bosses who want to prevent his vision of a peaceful city where everyone can enjoy life. Such as Baron Boudreaux, who wants to make everyone in the city his personal slaves. The main thing that inspired me to make this is the AT4W review of the comic Batman: Shadow of the Bat #57, where Batman faces of against a supervillain whose evil plan is to save the world by making everyone stoned off their asses with genetically enhanced weed.

Edit (6/11/2017): The grey cloud wasn't really feeling right with me, so I made a second version with the weed smoke being more colorful, which is a reference to the colorized version of the anti-weed film, Reefer Madness, where any marijuana smoke on screen was colorized with different neon colors.
